The Foods and Nutrition faculty and staff are
dedicated to provide clear, consistent, and truthful information
to prospective students, enrolled students, and the public at
large. The Didactic Program in Dietetics follows the policies
and procedures of Central Michigan University. These policies
and procedures are listed in the CMU Undergraduate Bulletin which
each student receives on admission to the University. You are
strongly encouraged to become familiar with CMU’s Undergraduate

According to job recruiters, participation
in student organizations, especially serving as an officer, is
a competitive edge for employment. Several student organizations
are available to Dietetics students:

Dietetics students are encouraged to join and
be active in student organizations.

CMU's Office of International Education offers
Study Abroad programs during the academic year and during the summer.
Students are enriched with an appreciation of another culture
and with better communication skills. CMU has Dietetics/Nutrition
Study Abroad programs in at least 14 countries around the world.

Students are encouraged to apply for scholarships.
Awards and criteria for selection will vary. Scholarships
are available for dietetics students who are current college students or
incoming freshmen
